Education: Dominic Thinane, or “Don” as he is known, is currently a director and partner at Anthony Wilton, Thinane Inc. Don was previously employed as a Court Interpreter from 1964 to 1971. During his employ, he was offered an incentive to pursue a legal career as an attorney which he accepted and attended to successfully. Don went on to obtain a B. Proc Law degree in 1976 from the University of the Northwest and thereafter his L.L.B Law Degree in 1980 from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS). Don was the founder of D Thinane Attorneys. Don has gone on to pursue his further studies and completed his Masters (L.L.M) Degree in Human Rights Law in 1996 which was obtained from the University of Pretoria (UP). Don has accumulated several years of experience in litigation, during the course of which he developed an affinity for Emvironmental Law, and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Law.
